Metric DIN 7971 Pan Head Slot Drive Self Tapping Sheet Metal Screws are thread forming screws that tap their own threads in the substrate into which they are driven – usually thin metal. The slot drive accepts a single blade slot screwdriver ideal for simple manual applications. DIN 7971 Pan Head Slot Drive Self Tapping Sheet Metal Screws are to be used with pre-drilled, punched or nested pilot holes in sheet metal or other solid materials.
