Threaded Bars, Rods & Studs
Threaded Studs, Bars & Rods: DIN 976-2
Threaded Studs in DIN 976-2 is a German technical standard that specifies a particular type of headless bolt, known as a stud bolt, one end of the stud is designed to be screwed tightly into a tapped hole, where it remains fixed. The other end is then used to attach other parts with a nut. They are designed to be used for electrical, construction and plumbing for hanging purposes. At BRK, We manufactures & Exports Threaded stud bolts and nuts as per ASTM A193 and ASTM A194 in alloy steel and stainless-steel grades. Threaded Studs are used in construction, manufacturing and industrial applications for tension connections, reinforcement and anchoring.
Threaded Studs are categorized into three basic types as per their shape.
Fully threaded stud bolts: fully threaded studs have full body coverage with threads for full engagement of the mating nuts or similar parts. Fully threaded stud is Similar to all threaded Rod or Bar, but the only distinction is that how the length is specified. While an all-thread rod refers to the bar stock itself, a fully threaded stud is a piece of that rod cut to a specific length.
Tap-end stud bolts: Tap-end studs have threads at extreme ends of the body with unequal thread engagement length.
Double-end stud bolts: These Studs have equal thread length at both ends.
Materials and Property Classes: DIN 976-2 studs are available in a range of material Grade to meet specific mechanical and environmental demands.
Graded Steel: Threaded Studs available in 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9, indicating high tensile strength.
Stainless Steel: for High Corrosion usages like in Marine we use grades A2 (304) and A4 (316) for corrosion resistance.
BRK Low Carbon Steel (ASTM A307) Threaded bars are used for light duty Anchoring.
BRK Medium Strength (ASTM A615) are used Structural Foundations & Seismic retrofits etc.
BRK Alloy Steel (ASTM A193 Grade B7 & B8) High Strength Threaded Bars are used in High temperature, High pressure Applications.
Threaded Rods & Bars
BRK Brand Threaded Bars are available in multiple material grades & with Different Tensile Strength. Threaded rods are made both mild steel and High tensile materials.
Threaded Studs DIN 976-2
DIN 976 Threaded Studs are headless bolts comes with chamfered and no chamfered ends. They are designed for a nut to be applied on both ends and are often used for electrical, construction and plumbing for hanging purposes. BRK Nuts Bolts offers complete ranges of Threaded studs defined in both metric and imperials sizes with unified national coarse pitch (UNC), fine pitch (UNF), fixed pitch (UN) and iso metric thread profile. These are produced across all material categories and ASTM A193 & ASTM A194 specifications.
