Hexagon Domed (Acorn) Cap Nuts

Metric DIN 1587 hexagon domed cap nuts are often referred to as acorn cap nuts. These nuts have a smooth rounded head that covers the hex nut base. The domed surface protects the bolt threads underneath while providing a finished appearance and may improve safety in certain circumstances.
