Holding Down Bolt Applications
- Primary Use: Securing steel columns, machinery, and heavy equipment to concrete foundations.
-
Installation Notes:
Embedded in concrete during pouring, with threaded ends exposed for structural attachment.
Accessories like wedge plates or extenders may be used for alignment.
BS 7419
BS 7419 is a British Standard for Holding Down Bolt with Square Head also known as Foundation Bolt (Anchor Bolt). Holding down bolts are primarily industrial fasteners, used for anchoring large machinery, structures & Other Heavy Equipment to Concrete foundations. Their primary function is to prevent movement and ensure stability to the components primarily to anchor structural steelwork to concrete foundations.
It provides guidelines and specifications for the design, materials, and performance of Holding Down Bolt, ensuring their reliability and safety. BS 7419 bolts provide robust anchoring for critical structures, with flexibility in sizes, grades, and finishes. These Holding down Bolt are manufactured using High Grades steel of 4.6 8.8 & 10.9. BRK Holding Down Bolt is available in Hot dip galvanization, Zink Plating, Black Annealing, Zinc Plating Etc. Beside BS 7419, BRK also Manufactures Other Hot Dip galvanized fasteners like BS EN 15048, EN 14399-1 Etc.
