Coating

Geomet 321-500

Geomet 321 is an aluminium-grey, non-electrolytic, thin coating for anti-rust protection of steel, cast iron and other ferrous metal parts. The difference with Geomet 500 only lies in the lubrication in the mixture.

It is composed of thin zinc and aluminium plates in an inorganic mould, it also contains a percentage of PTFE.

The application of Geomet produces no hydrogen embrittlement. It is obtained via the application of aqueous dispersion's according to non-embrittling cold immersion or pulverisation techniques.

Dacromet 320-500

Dacromet 320 is a an aluminium-grey, non-electrolytic, thin coating for anti-rust protection of steel, cast iron and other ferrous metal parts.

It is composed of thin zinc and aluminium plates in a chrome oxide mould. Dacromet 500 also has an integrated lubricant.

Hot Dip Galvanizing

This is the process by which zinc coatings are obtained on iron or steel products by immersing them in a zinc dip. The purpose of this coating is to provide strong protection against corrosion to products on which it is applied. It adds a certain thickness to the coated parts (normally between 45-65u) which at times requires the retouching of certain areas, mainly threaded areas.

Electroplated-Zinc Coating

This is a coating for a metallic part with a zinc dip for rust and corrosion protection, even improving the visual appearance. The zinc coating can be obtained by electrolytic or mechanical processes. It is normally served without CRVI, that is, free from HEXAVALENT CHROMIUM and with a shiny silver appearance, although other finishes are possible depending on requirements.

Black Annealing

This is the immersion of iron objects in a boiling alkaline-oxidising solution. With black annealing, dark black surface layers are generated on iron objects.
